The software is being constantly updated and bug-fixed. Customer service has drastically improved over the course of time. In most cases, the problem gets resolved by someone who picks up the support calls. Also, there are webinars conducted regularly that are very helpful.
There is an option of issue submission using emails, but the case is immediately closed, once they get back. Lots of emails are needed to make them seriously respond to your queries/problems. Also, if there's something not already integrated into the system, there are little or no ways to request them to add a particular thing.

Lots of good things to it, such as being not really reliant on a specific platform, and can work on practically any browser. Moreover, no specific infrastructure, including hardware and software are needed internally, for the software to work optimally.
The software lags specialty-focused MACRA and Meaningful Use. Also, there is a need for large-scale modification of documenting certain situations.

The software is highly customizable and can be moulded in accordance with the practice needs. The software bundle includes ePrescribe capability, Rosetta, Patient Portal, and MirthConnect. The support staff is extremely friendly and helpful, with resources who have actually worked in clinical environments.
A lot of clicks and buttons needed to scroll through the different modules of the application. Also, the interface is too modern, which is one of the reasons why it caused initial delays,

The A/R functions are something to be praised, for how quickly the vendor reimbursements are done. The implementation process is free of any hiccups, and I haven't witnessed any down-time as yet. Also, each statement can be reviewed before being sent, and the help sheets are very helpful indeed.
Attaching a claim with billing, and asking for employee help to review should be added.

Works whatever of what platform is being utilized, including ChromeOS, macOS, iOS, Android, and other platforms. Moreover, whatever browser is being utilized, the cloud-based application works seamlessly.

I can’t even describe a single good feature for this software. It all contain bunch of errors and clicks to navigate from one report to another.
It is not very user friendly by its user features for the 13 providers. Its lay out is too old and outdated. Even mouse navigation is not promptly move. Every time you have to sign in twice with email and password. It is not use of money that was paid and unfortunately the board who decide to go with this vendor do not use the system. Highly didn’t discourage to go with this vendor.

Very easy to use and navigate from one report to another. Their Equine protozoal myeloencephalitis is quite well designed for providers which reduce a lot of time to extra clicks.
Its patient portal is just terrible. Its required a lot of improvement. Most of sections are very hard to understand and requires a lot of clicks to pull a simple report. If they could make it less complicated and easy to navigate it would be the best thing they could do.

None. There are no pros of this product. It is horrible. I would not recommend NextGen to anyone.
It requires countless clicking to complete the simplest tasks and each note takes excessive time to complete. Moreover, its glitchy, crashes frequently and does not communicate with other EMRs and is very hard to learn.
