It functions as a cloud-based system as well as an on-premise installed system which can be connected to hand-held devices such as iOS and Android devices.
It enables its users the access to AOA MORE and AAO IRIS registry and also includes multiple tools to assist them with their MACRA/MIPS requirements. Their patient examination templates are customizable which can be changed to fit the needs of the user.
It also includes automated diagnostic codes which can be set to suggest and post automatically along with procedural codes and schedule management. Their services also include medical billing service alongside their EHR system.

This was the first EMR we implemented in our practice so we were not proficient. But the MaximEyes support is amazing and does a great jib in walking us through technological difficulties.
Account receivables reports sometimes take a while to run. The navigation is sometimes somewhat confusing but the support team is fat and efficient in answering our questions.

I love the team that this software has. They are are a passionate group of people who are always looking to improve their software and are always there to help when needed. We have used MaximEyes for 10 years+ and never been disappointed. Very powerful practice management system.
It is sometimes slow especially when you are trying to navigate between older exam forms. But overall it is easy to use. Could just be slightly faster.

There is always someone to offer technical support whenever I need something. The interface is not that easy to understand for everyone but the client support is always there to help and train our staff to use the EHR.
The software takes some time to load on our computers and there are too many popups. It could be more efficient with speed and functionality.

We are very happy with the workflow. The software has enabled us to take better care of our patients with its myriad features. The scheduler, VSP calculator, online patient portal, bill payments and iPad check-in are particularly wonderful.
We don't have any major complaints but we are hoping for a upgrade that won't require patient syncing between exam modules and practice management.

The features are everything we could need for our speciality. The support team is outstanding and gives personal attention to our issues. The staff is very helpful and patient and always ready to educate us when we need it. The system is also perfectly in line with compliance regulations.
There are minor customization issues sometimes but the staff is responsive and helpful whenever that happens and changes are made very quickly and efficiently.

1. The standard package has a lot of modules for doctors to choose which one they need 2. Converting from other EHR is affordable 3. Amazing support team 4. Patients can sign in online and do their paperwork even from home 5. VPN for added security
1. It takes some time to learn how to use the system. It's not perfectly user-friendly. 2. Patient management module and medical exam module need to be synced before comments and data become available to staff, which can really be a hassle sometimes.

The MaximEyes team is really innovative and always looking to help us. Once I switched to this system, I could never go back to paper. It meets all government regulations so we don't have to worry about anything. Customer support is absolutely excellent. They are also good at working on constructive complaints.
The upgrades are somewhat slow. Practice management analytics aren't the best right now but they are working on that and we hope an upgrade will come soon.
