Ezderm is a dermatology-focused software company, which makes solutions for providers who specialize in skin, hair and nail issues. Ezderm is a fairly recent health IT firm. It was founded in 2009 by Srdjan Prodanovich, a dermatologist himself and the company employs around 50 people.

I do not face any issues, but the internet system could be improved. I would like less downtime but that’s not possible. But I would like less downtime and faster response.
I have used EHRs in the past, and I like the ease of this EHR. It is very user-friendly. Their customer service response is slow, but the knowledge of the programmers lacks nothing.

ezderm software defines user-friendliness and has made it easy to train all our new staff. I like the service ticket options because it is helpful. You can see your practice’s growth without calling or asking anyone, and if I have an issue the CS representatives are very helpful.
One of the bad things are that some documents are duplicated. When two or more users work on the same document, it is saved separately as two separate documents. A lock-out feature is a must for any document so only one user can make changes at a time.

This system is easy for first-time users. Ezderm incorporates all the changes we want to make and implements those ideas in their upgrades too. I like that I can auto-download without having to pay.
Reports require time to load, and if I need to extract certain information it takes up more time. Upgrades hamper other processes and that is very frustrating.

Claims handling is very fast, and is hassle-free, and I get reimbursed in no time. They follow up with me diligently on denials and other concerns. There is an option to print and view all accounts receivables, collections and other billing information.
Ezderm emr offers security and transparency. Before them, my own staff dealt with all hassles and embezzled funds and that was too much work and other tasks were neglected as a result.

I get an EHR and EMR together in one program, and that has helped a lot. Last year, we attended the annual seminar by Ezderm EHR. They are a small group so you know everyone you come in contact with. Though it is hard to get timely response.
It was frustrating to get calls from patients because of errors in billing. Some of our Medicaid patients were receiving bills – and that’s not supposed to happen.

It is very easy to use and is adaptable with complete customization option. The learning curve was quick, and made navigation very easy.
When I look for extra pieces of information, it takes a while to load, especially if it’s from old operative notes. The main program does not allow us to see images, and I had to get a PACS system separately for films.
