EMDs EHR is a Canada-based electronic health records provider, a subsidiary of VitalHub Corporations. It is a web based solution and has been specifically designed for the behavioral health specialists. The user interface focuses on a client centric approach and allows the physician to manage his workflows through a single pane of glass. Aside from the user interface, the patient records offer a 360 view of the patient’s medical condition; inclusive of case plans which are designed keeping in mind the industry set standards.
EMDs offers features such as text reminders for patients who have their appointments scheduled, an integrated patient portal which provides online access of different medical documents to the patients etc. Automation is offered in terms of case automation and the software itself adapts to the workflows of the physician; various task alerts, edit checks etc.
The interRAI suite provides its users with the facility of monitoring and tracking respective medical outcomes of the practice. EMDs provides pre-installed templates which are ready to be launched on AI powered dashboards.

the charts are very cumbersome and not user friendly but I have gotten use to the it and bearing with it.
their customer service is pathetic it is not easy to build or customize templates and their PM is just rubbish I regret buying this system.

I have been using EMDs for almost a year now and I love it their pm system is simply the best and so is the emr.
I really don't think there is anything about emds that I have to criticize it for but ofcourse there is always room for improvement.

EMDs has a good reporting module, it is easy to use and allows me to create and read administrative reports when ever needed.
I just wish they had their own customer service that would know exactly what is going is with the client, most of the time their answer is 'no' if we ask them if something can be done or not.

Good billing module. they have improved my collections by 30 percent since I started using them 2 years ago and the general user interface is click to click basis fairly easy to use.
there are a few things in this system that I don't like for example when you add your modifiers the the default values show up instead of the new ones that need to be entered a second time.

I think the only thing that can be done easily using this software is accessing patients information.
If you are a medical practice the system will become a pain for you. Its not specialized to your specific needs!

great reporting system and that allows you to mine your data and get results quicker other than that they are up to date with the Quality measures required.
their customer service is very hard to get a hold of. I really wish they could improve on that and train problem solving skills of their team. because most of the time you ask them a question and instead of coming up with a work around they usually just say no it cant be done.

the implementation time had a few delays due to which I was a little irate but the built in templates and features sufficed at the time after the implementation I could add and tweak my own templates, charts etc.
too much clutter theres no way to get smart phrases and short cuts to different modules are almost non existent.

PM system of EMDs is brilliant I really love it. it also has meaning full use and template customization which I like to do.
It is not use friendly requires too many clicks to do any kind of work l which can sometimes get frustrating.

Solo practice user and don't have too many hands on staff. I am thankful that I am able to achieve MU with EMDs along with that it is a pretty decent system to use though.
I would like EMDs to do something about the screen layout of the sub components and how they appear... the appearance of it is very cluttered and I don't really like that it should be cleaner more organized and clutter free.
